I’m JAVA… and I’m kind of a big deal. I’m a 1-year old, 13 lb. (need to gain some weight), red/golden grizzle, male Lhasa Apso with Peke or Pom. I have the heart of an angel, if I do say so myself...but I’m also a firecracker once you get to know me. My top three likes: playing with the pooches (although I do like to pick and choose my friends), amusing myself with toys and chewies (hide the shoes, please), and snappy females who put me in my place. My top three dislikes: being left alone, alpha dogs, and kids under the age of 10.

Lhasa Apso Lovers
We are a private, non-profit, 501(c)(3) rescue and foster care organization created for the safe haven and permanent placement of homeless pups. We specialize in Lhasa Apso, Shih Tzu and Maltese, but also rescue other small breeds (20 lbs. and under). To date, we have rescued and fostered over 1,000 dogs in temporary home environments. Please help us find a permanent home for a little “furbaby” who deserves a second chance. Our pups have been through a lot and they deserve to be loved unconditionally...the same way they'll love you!
